About the role:

This SEN school in Rugby is looking to appoint an ambitious science teacher who is flexible on Science specialism and aspiring to inspire the next generation of scientists. You will be joining a team of experienced teachers in a well-organised department. These teachers enjoy supporting their pupils and passing their expertise on to their energetic students in an engaging way.

Requirements:

  • You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs.

  • You’ll be there to help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self-esteem.

  • You will need to be resilient and dedicated, but those huge small victories that you achieve will be something you’re really proud of.

  • A qualified science teacher with UK QTS or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 2/3/4 Level

  • Strong teaching background

  • A track record for delivering strong results at GCSE Level

  • Committed to delivering excellent and engaging lessons

  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
