Our highly successful and forward-thinking client is looking to recruit an experienced warehouse and logistics specialist.
This is not a big site approx. 12,000 square feet. The role involves managing a small team.
The need to be highly adaptable and a team player is key for the success of this role.
Must be a driver.
Duties include:
- Managing the day-to-day running of the warehouse
- Responsible for health & safety
- Managing a small fleet of vans and refits when necessary
- Liaising with transport/courier companies
- Managing any building maintenance
- Be hands on with picking any stock when necessary
- Managing 3 warehouse staff
- Scheduling the transport of exhibition equipment
- Any other related duties
Person Specification:
- Motivational, hands-on experienced Manager within the warehousing sector
- Used to working to deadlines
- Experienced health & safety professional
- Highly organised, adaptable and good attention to detail
- Used to dealing with building maintenance
- Committed and always looking to provide the best service for customers
