Account Manager - B2B Sales | £30,000-£35,000 + Bonus | Runcorn

We’re looking for a commercially minded and relationship-driven Account Manager to join a growing B2B business based in Runcorn. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys developing client relationships, driving account growth, and delivering first-class customer service.

You’ll manage a portfolio of existing clients, acting as their key contact, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of B2B customer accounts

  • Build strong, long-term client relationships to drive retention and satisfaction

  • Identify new revenue opportunities within existing accounts

  • Handle inbound queries via phone, email, and live chat with professionalism and urgency

  • Process customer orders and liaise with logistics to ensure accurate and timely deliveries

  • Generate new sales opportunities from non-active accounts and inbound leads

  • Provide monthly reporting on account performance and growth

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and logistics to ensure customer needs are met

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in account management, B2B sales, or customer success

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong sales instincts with experience in upselling and cross-selling

  • Highly organised with great attention to detail

  • Confident using CRM systems (experience with Pipedrive or Sage is a bonus)

  • Proactive, customer-focused, and solutions-oriented

  • Some understanding of logistics or stock management processes is desirable

  • Salary: £25,000-£28,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission
