My client, a leading global retail/manufacturing company, are looking to hire 2 Finance Business Partners to join their newly refurbished head office in Runcorn.
Our client is seeking two Commercial Finance Business Partners to join their dynamic team. These roles will be an integral part of the wider finance team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial, analytical, and business support.
The successful candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring sound decision-making and profitable growth within the organisation.
One of the roles will be focused specifically on the retail operations, so previous retail experience will be an advantage.
What you'll do:
- Provide commercial insight and analytical support for projects, process changes, and investment appraisals including post-investment review
- Analysis of investment opportunities and provision of accounting data for various projects
- Provide robust challenge to the Management Team on current business performance along with insight into root cause of issues
- Utilise and develop key management information and systems to evaluate current business performance
- Support the development and use of self-serve tools in agreed business areas
- Complete budget and forecasts for agreed areas of the business in partnership with appropriate key stakeholders
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Business Partner role will bring a wealth of experience from a variety of industry sectors, including retail ideally. Your proven track record in financial analysis and decision support will be invaluable in this role. You should have experience building sound business cases to support objectives, as well as performing root cause analysis. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to build relationships across different functions effectively. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as is advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with relevant post qualification experience of financial analysis and decision support gained through commercial roles in industry.
- Experience of building sound business cases to support business objectives.
- Proven experience in performing root cause analysis, developing and implementing process improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a dynamic personality.
- Excellent communication skills, incorporating written, verbal, presentation and reporting at all levels.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
