The Role:
As a Mechanical Fitter, you’ll play a key role in the assembly and installation of our bespoke process equipment from engineering drawings and specifications to build high-precision components and complete mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly and fitting of stainless steel and other metal components for process equipment.
- Interpreting and working from technical drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
- Working closely with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Conducting mechanical testing, fault-finding, and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with company health & safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in mechanical fitting.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.
- Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications or time-served apprenticeship.
