Connect2Halton is currently recruiting for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Duty and Assessment Team within Halton Council. About us:
Connect2Halton, a council-owned company dedicated to recruiting our flexible workforce (temporary and casual workers). We are a 50/50 publicly-owned joint venture between Halton Borough Council and Commercial Services Group, a company wholly owned by Kent County Council.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake assessments of children in need and those at risk of harm.
- Work collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
- Manage a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Prepare clear and concise reports for a variety of audiences including court.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Social Work England registration.
- Experience within Duty and Assessment or similar.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage caseloads.
- Assessment and analytical skills.
- 3 years perm experience.
