We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Runcorn. This rewarding role involves working closely with students who require extra support due to a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Your Role Will Include:-
Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual needs

Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom to access learning

Assisting with classroom routines, activities, and behaviour management

Contributing to the development of EHCPs and IEPs alongside teaching and SEN staff

Helping create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

Has experience supporting children with SEN in an educational, care, or youth work setting

Is patient, compassionate, and proactive
-
Works well as part of a team and uses their initiative

Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are beneficial but not essential
