We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Runcorn. This rewarding role involves working closely with students who require extra support due to a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

Your Role Will Include:
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support tailored to individual needs

  • Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom to access learning

  • Assisting with classroom routines, activities, and behaviour management

  • Contributing to the development of EHCPs and IEPs alongside teaching and SEN staff

  • Helping create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment

We're Looking for Someone Who:
  • Has experience supporting children with SEN in an educational, care, or youth work setting

  • Is patient, compassionate, and proactive

  • Works well as part of a team and uses their initiative

  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3) are beneficial but not essential
