Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 (Depending on experience)
Location: Rushden Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday - Friday working 9am-5:30pm
Contract: Permanent
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and control systems for industrial and field applications.
- Create and interpret detailed electrical circuit diagrams and schematics.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical design standards, safety regulations, and industry legislation.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new equipment and system designs.
- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment in both workshop and field environments.
- Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site, ensuring effective troubleshooting and resolution.
- Develop and deliver training programs for customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on electrical and control systems in the workshop.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in designing and building electrical systems, including 400V AC power circuits and 24V DC control circuits.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical schematics and layout drawings.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally at short notice.
