Job Vacancy: FLT Counterbalance Driver Recycling Facility
Location:Rushden
Hours: 07:00 - 19:00 Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13.00

Are you an experienced Forklift Truck Counterbalance Driver looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced and environmentally conscious workplace? Were hiring on behalf of a leading recycling and waste management facility, committed to sustainability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate FLT Counterbalance truck to transport, load, and unload recyclable materials

  • Move bales, containers, and waste materials safely and efficiently around the site

  • Support general yard duties and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment

  • Conduct daily equipment checks and report any defects or safety concerns

  • Work closely with the site team to ensure smooth running of operations

Requirements:
  • Valid FLT Counterbalance license (RTITB or ITSSAR accredited)

  • Proven experience operating FLT in a similar industrial or recycling environment

  • Good understanding of health & safety practices in a busy yard or warehouse

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required

  • Physically fit this is an active, outdoor role

Desirable:
  • Previous experience in recycling, waste management, or heavy industry

  • Flexibility for overtime or weekend shifts
