Salary: £14.80 per hour plus incentives
Hours: Full-time – 7am to 7pm, 3–4 shifts per week including alternate weekends

About the Role:
The care home provides personal, nursing, and dementia care to residents in a purpose built, modern setting designed to feel like home.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Supporting residents with all aspects of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Leading and supporting the care team on shift, ensuring all duties are carried out to a high standard
- Completing medication rounds accurately and ensuring high standards in care documentation
- Conducting one-to-ones with team members and assisting with investigations and concerns as directed by management
- Promoting good practice and addressing poor performance constructively
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Registered Nurse)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home
- Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Must live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in a similar senior care role within a nursing home
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia
- NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care (or above)
- Familiarity with the National Care Standards Act 2000
- Proven ability to lead and manage a care team effectively
