Role: Shipping Coordinator

Location: Saffron Walden

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 16:30pm

Salary: £13.47 - £14.43 an hour, weekly pay

Temporary, immediate start with the opportunity to go permanent

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our fast growing client based in Saffron Walden.

Our client is seeking an individual experienced within HMRC import / export regulations, excellent attention to detail and experienced shipping outside the EU.

Duties of a Shipping Coordinator:

  • Dealing with importing and re-exporting of components
  • Point of contact for HMRC to ensure all the business is following correct procedures and legislations
  • Complete all HMRC quarterly reports relating to IPR and tracking IPR repairs
  • Adding custom values and tariff codes to the system
  • Uploading all shipping documentation to the system
  • Maintain point of contact to customers and stores team

What we would like from you:

  • Previous experience within a shipping department
  • Must have import / export experience
  • Knowledge of the aviation or aerospace engineering industry is desirable
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent PC skills and using databases
