??The RoleAs aClient Manager, youll take ownership of your own portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients, delivering technical excellence, strategic insight, and hands-on support. This role blends leadership, advisory, and compliance responsibilities in a firm that truly values collaboration, growth, and work-life balance.
??Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing expert advice and support.
Oversee and review work prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and review management accounts, VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and year-end financial statements.
Support clients with budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy.
Monitor job workflows, internal deadlines, and billing targets.
Identify opportunities for added-value services to help clients grow.
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture.
ACA / ACCA qualified(or finalist with strong experience).
45 years experience in a public practice environment.
Strong knowledge of Xero and other cloud-based accounting platforms.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
High attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach.
A supportive leader who enjoys helping others grow.
