My client is a well-known, reputable business based in Salford Quays. Due to internal progression and movement within teams they are recruiting multiple roles into the record to report team on a permanent and 12 month fixed term contract basis, this is an excellent opportunity to join a business who champion development and progression.
As an R2R Project Accountant you will be responsible for performing Fusion Projects accounting and close procedures, including set up, eventing, journals, status changes and WIP reconciliations to ensure the financial statements are accurate for the reporting period. You will create and work with Capex projects, including identifying overspends and liaising with various key stakeholders across the organisation, as well as monitoring the balance sheet closely ensuring old project balances and investigated and cleared where necessary to derisk the balance sheet.
This role will suit a part-qualified accountant who is competent with all aspects of the balance sheet as well as month end processes, preferably within a shared service centre or a large, complex organisation.
The salary is up to £45,000 dependant on experience and qualification with an attractive benefits package that includes study support and hybrid working.
