Job Title: Senior Bridge Engineer
Location: Hybrid working - based in Salford (required in the office one day per week)
Pay Rate: 拢53 per hour (Position is Inside IR35)
Contract Duration: 12 months, with the possibility of extending to 18 months
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer with experience in bridge design and maintenance to join our clients team on a fixed-term contract. The successful applicant must be a Chartered Engineer and have a strong background in highways and bridge engineering in the UK.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
聽
路Manage and carry out the design, inspection, and assessment of highway bridges and related structures.
路Review technical drawings, calculations, and reports to ensure they meet safety and design standards.
路Prepare clear and accurate technical documents, reports, and specifications.
路Work with clients, contractors, and other engineers to meet project deadlines and requirements.
路Ensure work complies with national design standards, including the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and Eurocodes.
路Support less experienced team members by providing advice and guidance.
路Help with planning project schedules and monitoring progress against targets.

Essential Requirements:
聽
路Full Chartered Engineer (CEng/MIstructE) status with a recognised engineering institution.
路Extensive experience in highways and bridge engineering, particularly in the UK.
路Good understanding of current industry standards and practices.
路Strong written and verbal communication skills.
路Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
