Salary: £42,000 £47,000 per year, plus tips and bonuses
About the RoleAs Head Chef, youll have full responsibility for the kitchen from crafting exciting menus and maintaining impeccable standards, to mentoring your team and delivering memorable dining experiences for every guest.
What Youll Be DoingLead, inspire, and develop a high-performing kitchen team
Take ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Create and evolve menus that showcase creativity, seasonality, and current food trends
Drive consistency in food quality, flavour, and presentation at all times
Manage food costs, stock control, and waste to maximise efficiency and profitability
Uphold the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen organisation
Train, schedule, and support your team to help them grow and succeed
Work closely with front-of-house to deliver seamless service and outstanding hospitality
Step onto the pass and engage with guests when needed, leading by example
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a busy kitchen
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and unite a team
A genuine passion for food, creativity, and delivering exceptional quality
Solid knowledge of modern cooking techniques and kitchen operations
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
A strong understanding of food safety, compliance, and best practices
