We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join the kitchen team at a 50 bedroom hotel, nestled in the picturesque countryside on the outskirts of Salisbury, Wiltshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled chef with a flair for modern British gastro-style cuisine and a proven track record in delivering great food.
About the Role as Sous Chef:
Assist the Exec Chef in the day-to-day running of a vibrant kitchen
Contribute to the consistent delivery of creative seasonal menus with a British gastro influence
Take a hands-on role in preparing dishes for the restaurant, weddings, and events
Ensure high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation
Support and mentor junior kitchen staff
About You:
Proven experience as a Junior Sous Chef or senior Ched de Partie ready for the next step
Strong knowledge of modern British gastro-style cuisine
Experience working within weddings/events
Passionate about fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creative presentation
Calm under pressure with excellent organisational and communication skills
