We are seeking an experienced and reliable Mechanical Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day site operations on a high-spec commercial fit-out project near Salisbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated supervisor to take charge of a dedicated team, working on the installation and commissioning of catering blocks, toilets, and commercial kitchen facilities.
You’ll be managing up to four Mechanical Fitters, ensuring quality, safety, and scheduling are upheld to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical teams on-site, ensuring compliance with health & safety protocols and project specifications.
- Coordinate daily workloads and monitor progress against programme timelines.
- Liaise with project managers and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee the installation of mechanical systems within catering blocks, commercial kitchens, and WC facilities.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure all RAMS and site documentation are in order.
- Manage site materials, deliveries, and equipment checks.
Essential Requirements
- SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – Required
- Valid Mechanical Skill Card (e.g., JIB-PMES, CSCS Mechanical Installer/Plumber)
- Proven track record supervising mechanical fit-out teams on commercial projects.
- Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills.
- Own PPE and basic tools.
- Must live within a commutable distance to Salisbury – no digs provided.
