We are currently recruiting a Part Time Cook based in Salisbury, working for a great organisation at the heart of the community. This is a permanent position.
The Cooks role is paying £14.26 per hour shifts are as follows:
Shifts
Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday 9am – 1:30pm
Duties:
- To provide a suitable, balanced midday meal appropriate to the needs of residents
- You will be preparing lunches and deserts for circa 15 people.
- Promote good customer and staff relations
- Maintaining a clean environment in line with health and safety standards
- Keep up with trends and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure all supplies are stocked and all reasonable dietary requirements are considered
Skills and experience:
- Previous, demonstrable experience in a kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and customer care skills, with a customer-centred approach to service delivery
- Good teamwork
- Awareness of relevant legislation; Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and Allergen Awareness
- Committed and enthusiastic
- Up to date Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake training
