A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Cover Supervisor to join a well-regarded secondaryschool in Salisbury following October half term. This is a full-time, long-term role that will run until at least the end of December, with a strong potential to continue until Easter 2026 for the right candidate.

The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom during teacher absence, ensuring lessons run smoothly and students remain focused on their learning. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and support students across a range of subjects and year groups.
While you will not be required to plan or mark lessons, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning atmosphere and upholding the school’s high standards. Confidence, adaptability, and strong communication skills are key.
Responsibilities• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans in the teacher’s absence
• Maintain a calm, respectful, and purposeful classroom environment
• Encourage engagement and positive behaviour among students
• Provide support to pupils where appropriate
• Supervise classes across different subjects and year groups
