About the Role
Simply Education is working with a welcoming junior school in Sandwich who are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to gain valuable experience within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The successful teacher will take on full classroom responsibilities, delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils while maintaining a warm, nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can succeed.
- Assess, record, and report on pupils' progress effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
- A passion for inspiring young learners and helping them achieve their full potential.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
