Commercial Insurance Handler - Internal Sales

Location - Potton, Sandy, Bedfordshire

Salary - up to 27k Base + OTE ( up to 6k on average) and flex benefits, on site Parking

Our client is a leading Independent Broker and due to continued expansion they are looking for an Experienced Insurance Handler to work in the Internal Sales Division delivering New Business Quotations

This is a unique opportunity as our client is looking for candidates who are looking to develop their career with a Highley respected Broker. The role will consist of contacting new clientswith regard to their Insurance insurance requirements,

Overview of the position

The role will consist of Developing Accounts with premiums in excess of £10,000 in premium across all classes of Commercial Insurance from our existing client base

Our client is looking for a candidate who has the following: -

Insurance Experience is Desirable but Sales experience in Insurance, Financial Services or banking is essential

Excellent negotiation skills with Insurers and prospects

A desire to develop new business

An Ability to meet and exceed targets and KPI

Excellent knowledge of the Insurance Market and its trends

CII or progress towards is desirable

Skills

Sales Experience in a Financially regulated market

Excellent face to face and telephone communication skills to enhance customer relationship

Confidence in negotiation -tackling and addressing Insurer objections and achieve the best results for our clients’ customers

Ability to work enthusiastically and, essentially, to timescales

Willingness to undertake bespoke internal computer and technical training together with professional examinations as required
