Be Part of Something Big - Join a Groundbreaking Engineering SiteWe're hiring an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a brand-new, large-scale engineering facility due to go live this summer. This is a rare chance to join an ambitious new project at the ground level, offering the stability of a long-term role alongside genuine opportunities for technical development.
The Role:As an EC&I Engineer, you will:

Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical and control systems.

Troubleshoot and fault-find PLCs, control panels, instrumentation, and 3-phase equipment.

Support planned and emergency shutdowns, working with OEMs where necessary.

Contribute to technical projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Assist with the training and mentoring of junior team members and apprentices.

Siemens PLCs, SCADA systems, HMI, pressure sensors, motors, and safety systems.

A wide range of modern electrical and control infrastructure across a large, complex site.

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering.

Strong background in heavy or high-volume engineering environments.

Comfortable working with automated systems, fault-finding and performing hands-on maintenance.

Team player with a mindset for safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

Base Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (up to £53,000 for exceptional candidates)

On-call Allowance: +6%

EC&I Specialist Allowance: +7.5%

Annual Bonus: Up to 2.5% of salary, paid each March

Holidays: 25 days (rising to 31 with service) + your birthday off
