Build Something Big - Join a Landmark Engineering ProjectWe are recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a major new facility in its commissioning phase. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a high-performing team at a newly constructed site that will be operational by mid-2025.

Your Role:You'll be responsible for:

Delivering planned, preventative, and reactive mechanical maintenance across the entire site.

Supporting the commissioning, shutdown, and optimisation of systems.

Working closely with equipment suppliers and third-party contractors.

Assisting in the development and mentoring of apprentices and junior technicians.

Large mechanical plant systems

Pumps, valves, and hydraulics

Pneumatics and alignment tools

Power transmission and rotating machinery

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (or significant relevant experience).

Strong background in heavy engineering environments (e.g. large plant, utilities, forces, power, etc.).

Ability to work independently and as part of a 24/7 team operation (Mon-Fri with on-call rotation).

Comfortable working with OEM partners and adapting to evolving site operations.

Base Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

On-call Allowance: +6%

Annual Performance Bonus: Up to 2.5%
