- Lead all the annual statutory accounting for all group companies and consolidation
- Preparation of draft financial and statutory accounts including detailed narrative reports for the SMT, internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee the completion of all related governance documents
- Manage and maintain a strong working partnership with external auditors, bank & tax advisors
- Design, define and manage the financial controls & assurance required for all group entities Â
- Management of monthly intercompany reconciliations and balance sheet control
- Oversee all VAT and taxation returns and compliance for all group entities in line with requirements, including relevant disclosures
- Finance lead for all business and process change projects, including digital change and data integrity across all group entities
- Identify and lead all process and control improvement programmes within the finance teams Â
- A technically competent qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with a strong knowledge of all accounting principles
- Strong interpersonally including effective communicator to be able to manage the key relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Proven background leading a large group financial function within a complex, regulated or third sector industry
- You will be controls driven and be able to engage the wider business and drive change
- A self-starter, someone who can hit the ground running quickly in a large, complex unique group of companies
- Highly IT Literate including excel and various ERP systems
