If you're seeking an opportunity to lead from the front and contribute at a strategic level, this could be your next step. The client is offering a salary of 45,000 - 65,000, dependent on experience.

What Does the Role Entail?
You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving our health, safety, and environmental programs. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll collaborate across departments to embed best practice and legislative compliance throughout the business. Your day-to-day will include reviewing HSE policies, conducting risk assessments, leading safety audits, overseeing incident investigations, and delivering internal training. You'll also support commercial and operational teams with tenders, specific industry reviews, and contract mobilisation activities, ensuring robust safety frameworks are in place from the outset.

What Skills Will You Have?
You'll bring a solid foundation of HSE expertise, ideally backed by a NEBOSH certificate, experience in ISO auditing, and a strong working knowledge of UK HSE legislation. You'll be confident delivering training, conducting investigations, and advising senior leaders on complex safety matters. Your ability to foster strong relationships, communicate with clarity, and influence at all levels will be essential. Previous experience in field operations, bid preparation, or subcontractor oversight would also be beneficial.

What Is On Offer?
This is your chance to step into a strategic HSE role with the autonomy to shape systems and culture across a diverse organisation. You'll be part of a supportive leadership team that values continuous improvement and high performance. With varied responsibilities spanning planning, operations, and compliance, you'll never have a dull day, and your expertise will be genuinely valued.
