?? Job Overview

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking a passionate and experienced Children's Social Worker to join their IMAP Team (Initial Multi-Agency Partnership) based in Scunthorpe. You'll play a vital role in safeguarding children and young people, working closely with families and multi-agency partners.

�? Key Responsibilities
  • ???????? Conduct social work assessments, including Section 47 investigations

  • ?? Use professional judgment to evaluate risk and develop robust safeguarding plans

  • ?? Engage with children, families, and professionals to ensure positive outcomes

  • �?? Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for meetings and court where required

  • ?? Participate in strategy discussions and contribute to Child Protection Conferences

  • ?? Maintain accurate, timely records using electronic case management systems

? Essential Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Children's Social Work

  • Strong knowledge of Section 47 assessments and statutory safeguarding procedures

  • Confident in managing complex caseloads within timescales

  • Excellent communication and report writing skills

  • SWE Registration & Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred)
