Exciting Opportunity for Mechanical Pipefitters!
ES Steel Solutions are a specialist site installation business providing services to the Nuclear and Defence industries.
We have openings for skilled Mechanical Pipefitters to join our dedicated team based on the Sellafield site in Cumbria.
If you have a passion for working with quality and precision pipework, this role is perfect for you!
About the Role
You will be responsible for the removal of existing pipework and the installation of new systems including HPA ejectors, vacuum pumps and air monitors.
It is essential all work undertaken meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Remove existing pipework and install new pipework services.
- Reconnect systems including HPA ejectors and vacuum pumps.
- Conduct smoke tests on pipework.
- Install isolation valves, stainless steel pipework, and various fittings.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this opportunity applicants must possess the following:
- SC clearance and P4 pass for Sellafield. (Lapsed P4 passes can be re-applied for)
- CSCS / CCNSG certifications.
- NVQ 3 mechanical engineering / pipework qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in pipework installation and maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Renumeration / Benefits of Joining
(Pay rate subject to quals and rate assessment)
The role offers Blue Book pay rates and benefits including:
- Pay rate of 22.44 per hour, with overtime rates available.
- O/T 31.42 per hour / O/T 2 40.39 per hour
- Site hourly bonus of 2.37 per hour
- 335.67 digs allowance.
- Opportunities for overtime and addition 50p bonuses for over the barrier working.
