Sue Ross Recruitment is a reputable law firm dedicated to delivering outstanding service and support to their clients. Our client are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join their team and provide crucial day-to-day support to our fee earners and wider office team. This is a 12month fixed term contract, full time office based position located in Sheffield City Centre with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing fee earner diaries and providing proactive administrative support
  • Maintaining and updating client files, both electronically and physically
  • Filing and retrieving documents accurately and efficiently
  • Scanning documents and ensuring digital records are correctly saved and organised
  • Handling incoming correspondence, distributing it appropriately, and responding when needed
  • Providing cover on reception, including greeting visitors, answering phones, and managing the front desk when required

About You:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office systems
  • Confident communicator with a friendly and professional manner
  • Flexible and willing to assist where needed across the office
