My client is a government-owned institution currently recruiting for a governance opportunity suitable for candidates with information and data protection experience. Based in an office located very close to Sheffield train station and with only 2 days a week required in the office, this role is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion and interest in information management and good data protection practice.A typical day in this role can include working on various information/data protection projects, developing & giving training, managing complex Freedom of Information requests, researching on horizon scanning, researching and understanding developments on information law cases, pulling information together for the publishing of reports and advising on/providing guidance to various stakeholders within different areas of the business.Candidates will need a good working knowledge of data protection, information management/risk and records management.
