We are looking for a Business Support Officer to work in the Fire Safety team of a leading public sector organisation based in the S4 Postcode of Sheffield (Free parking and good transport links). This role is ideal for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, and capable of supporting a busy team with their day-to-day operations.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Raising orders for the Fire Safety team and ensuring all records are up to date.
  • Efficiently managing and updating records with a high level of accuracy.
  • Fielding general enquiries and directing them to the appropriate service or individual.
  • Providing administrative support to the Fire Safety team, including document preparation and data entry.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure smooth operation of the Fire Safety department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in a public sector or fire safety environment is advantageous but not essential.
