Job Overview

We are looking for Student Learning Mentors to work within our Alternative Provision partners who is responsible for providing tailored support to students who face challenges in accessing education due to behavioural, social, or emotional difficulties.Job Role

  • Student Support and Guidance: Provide tailored support to students facing barriers to learning, helping them manage personal, social, and academic challenges.
  • Behavioral Management: Implement strategies to improve student behavior, providing one-on-one mentoring and group interventions to encourage positive change.
  • Monitoring Progress: Track and report on students' academic and emotional development, working with teaching staff to ensure appropriate interventions are in place.
  • Building Relationships: Foster strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and external agencies to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
