An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a multi-billion-pound turnover business as the UK Credit Collections Manager. Based in South Yorkshire, this role offers the chance to lead a high-performing credit team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.You'll be responsible for managing three direct reports and coordinating with an offshore team, driving performance through effective ledger management, data analysis, and reporting. This role requires a strong customer service ethos, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to meet and exceed business targets.Your new role

Within your new role, you will be responsible for the UK and overseas collections teams, reporting directly to the UK Credit Director.You will need a hands on attitude towards credit, building relationships with key clients, ensuring service level agreements are adhered to and maintained. This will include unallocated cash, risk identification, forecasting, and aged debt as well as internal and external queries. You will be working directly with senior leadership, promoting effective cash management and controls to support further growth within the business.Reviewing the standard operating procedures will give you the freedom to asses current processes and suggest improvements to enhance internal and external procedures.Customer experience and company compliance are key to this role. What you'll need to succeed

  • You will need to have previous experience in a similar role, working with direct reports within a credit management team.
  • Previous experience with legislation and credit policies
  • Extensive stakeholder management experience, with strong communication skills at all levels.
  • Relationship development with internal teams, outside of credit, to understand key business motivators
  • Professional improvement targets, supporting with personal and team upskilling
  • CICM beneficial
