Do you have strong skills in AutoCAD Electrical and a passion for delivering high-quality control panel designs and electrical schematics for industrial automation projects?Join a dynamic UK-based engineering team working on cutting-edge automation systems across sectors such as manufacturing, FMCG, water & utilities, and renewables.The Role:

  • Design and develop electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical for control panels and automation systems
  • Collaborate with project engineers, software developers, and clients to deliver end-to-end integration solutions
  • Produce BOMs, panel layouts, wiring schedules, and documentation to IEC standards
  • Contribute to functional design specifications and risk assessments
  • Support commissioning and testing phases as required

You'll Need:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Design Engineer in an automation or control systems environment
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and control panel design
  • Solid understanding of PLC/SCADA-based systems (Siemens, Rockwell, etc.)
  • Knowledge of relevant standards (BS EN 61439, 60204, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to client sites when needed
