We are on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer with mechanical maintenance skills to join our client in the Sheffield area.
This is a permanent position.Â
Working a Continental pattern of both day shifts & night shifts (day shift: 6 am – 6 pm & night shift: 6 pm – 6 am)
Salary: £47,000
The role:
- Implement the strategic plan for the site with the factory team
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs
- Address mechanical and electrical breakdowns on-site
- Fault-find on PLC-controlled production equipment
- Support site teams, ensuring compliance with company legislative requirements
- Update and work from the site CMMS
The Person:
- Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance
- Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions
- NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical and electrical engineering or similar discipline
- Competency in using IT systems effectively
- Local to Sheffield
This role would suit someone who has been in a multi skilled engineer, electrical engineer, electrical technician, electrician, shift engineer role
