The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a medium to advanced-level Account Handler ready to manage a substantial and varied book of commercial business, valued between £1.5 million and £2 million. Rather than specialising in a single product line, you’ll work across a broad spectrum of commercial policy types, with the flexibility to shape your book around your strengths and experience.
You’ll be responsible for renewals, mid-term adjustments, client queries, and ensuring compliance with FCA and internal standards. Working alongside a close-knit team, you’ll build lasting client relationships and deliver tailored insurance solutions.
Requirements

Previous experience in a commercial account handling role.

Strong technical knowledge of a broad range of commercial insurance products.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Confidence in managing a high-value, varied portfolio.

Knowledge of compliance standards, including FCA regulations and Consumer Duty.

Proficiency in insurance platforms and client management systems.

ACII qualification or willingness to work towards it.

Experience with Acturis or similar broking systems.
