The Opportunity

Superb opportunity for a hands on and commercially aware Finance Director / Head of Finance.

You’ll be joining a thriving £10m turnover SME as the primary finance contact - reporting to the MD.

The role is completely all encompassing - managing all aspects of the financial reporting and financial management. It’s a key role as a sounding board for financial decision making, business strategy and tactical direction.

Required

Previous experience as Head of Finance / FD within a diverse SME

Confidence when drilling down into the detail - the role is for a senior finance person who has no issues in digging into the nuts and bolts (1 other person in finance at Assistant Accountant level)

Great communication skills and ability to influence decision making and direction within a board.

Ability to support / lead other functions (responsibility for HR / IT etc).

Great people skills - ability to build relationships across all areas of the business in order to understand levers of success (50 employee business).
