Here atJELD-WEN UK, a global organisation that produces and manufactures Doors and Doorsets, were looking for an HR Project Coordinator.
This pivotal role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract basis, working from our site in Sheffield UK, to support the delivery of our People and Culture and Learning and Development project workstreams.
This role will be focused on the positive development of the workforce culture plan, promoting high standards and behaviours in line with our values. You will work with key stakeholders and workstream leaders to coordinate the introduction of a site wide talent development plan and take an active part in our planned site move.
You will be required to be onsite 4 days out of 5 to be hands-on in supporting our internal teams,ideally be CIPD level 5 qualified with previous project management experience. You will be passionate about HR and L&D, have strong problem solving skills and be a champion for our JELD-WEN values.

What your impact will be:
- Support the positive development of the workforce culture plan, promoting high standards of behaviour in line with our Values.
- Co-ordinate the introduction of a site wide talent development plan; undertaking a skills audit / gap analysis, developing individual learning plans, organise training and submit funding applications.
- Work with key stakeholders to understand the structure required to future proof the UK organisation. Execute the plan including necessary restructuring activity.
- Work closely with workstream lead stakeholders, including the HR team, country leadership team and departmental managers to achieve project deliverables in line with the plan.
- Take an active part in the planned site move including informing and consulting with employees and preparing necessary contract amendments.
- Manage risks, resolve issues and report on project progress to the project team.
- Successfully implement the project plan to contribute to the overall effectiveness and success of the People element.
- Train and develop individuals on HR related activities.
- Establish, maintain, manage relationships and co-ordinate internal resources, external vendors, or consultants for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop and accurately maintain the detailed project plan to track progress.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to line manager as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience in HR project management and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources or Learning & Development.
- A strong understanding of HR processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Proven experience of developing learning and development plans, boosting organisational performance and supporting with retention.
- Preferably have worked within manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Experience engaging with employee representatives and unions.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification would be desirable.
- Flexible to travel, with occasional travel to Penrith required.
