Role Overview

As an RTA Litigator, you will manage a caseload of road traffic accident personal injury claims from portal exit to settlement. You'll draft legal documents, liaise with clients and third parties, and ensure compliance with SLAs while achieving individual and team targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle RTA claims, drafting pleadings, applications, disclosure lists, witness statements, and trial documents.
  • Perform advocacy for Case Management Conferences, Application Hearings, and Pre-Trial Reviews.
  • Assess liability, evaluate damages, and manage settlement negotiations.
  • Maintain compliance with SLAs, civil procedure rules, and legal best practices.
  • Provide excellent client service, ensuring regular updates and timely resolution.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years' experience in RTA personal injury litigation.
  • Strong understanding of RTA scenarios, liability, and current PI procedures.
  • Proven ability to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and general IT skills.
  • Knowledge of civil procedure rules and litigation tactics.
Qualifications
  • Solicitor, FILEX, or equivalent litigation experience.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Positive, client-focused attitude with a proactive approach.
