They are seeking an Account Manager with proven expertise handling and growing commercial relationships for the UK. This is a permanent role offering excellent remuneration and career progression.

The Role

Drawing on your background in engineering ideally precision engineering or near neighbour technology experience you will lead the UK expansion managing high profile accounts and developing new business.

You will capture customer requirements and use modern sales methodologies to demonstrate value proposition. The Account Manager will work on a hybrid basis, visiting both the UK HQ and customer sites across the UK when required. Travel is an expected part of the role including visiting Europe and the USA on a periodic basis.

The Account Manager will meet and exceed revenue targets through fostering highly effective relationships with customers and developing repeat business opportunities. You will work collaboratively with the UK and international teams to support sales growth, operating in a project-based format, capturing requirements, and developing bespoke solutions.

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess ideally a degree or equivalent qualification or experience level and proven record in selling solutions to the manufacturing and engineering sectors particularly with emphasis on precision engineering. You will be able to operate UK wide working from a home base and able to accommodate travel to the USA and Europe on a quarterly basis.

The Account Manager will be conversant in leading high value sales projects with typically longer gestation periods of circa 6 to 12 months, based on a consultative model and reflective of solid customer relationships with a strong technical acumen demonstrated throughout the sales process. You will have specific experience of selling in the automotive, aerospace and/or medical product sectors and well versed in CAE software.
