A small, growing manufacturer specialising in tablet and powder blends for cleaning products. The company currently operates with semi-automated processes and is looking to explore full automation of its production line.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the setup and optimisation of automated manufacturing systems. This short-term assignment will focus on improving efficiency and layout of the production line, including labelling, filling, and tablet pressing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess current semi-automated processes and identify opportunities for full automation.
- Support the setup and integration of labelling and filling machines, tablet presses, and conveyor systems.
- Advise on layout and space planning for equipment installation.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth implementation and minimal disruption to production.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in automation within manufacturing environments, ideally chemical or process industries.
- Hands-on experience with labelling machines, tablet presses, sachet filling systems, and conveyors.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within a short timeframe.
- Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
