We are looking for an mechanical fitter to join a market leading manufacturing company within their respective field. You will be involved in all aspects of machine building. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong mechanical fitter looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Details:

  • Respond promptly to emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment as required.

  • Carry out a wide range of duties to install, maintain, and support the operational efficiency of site equipment.

  • Undertake work across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on a variety of production machinery.

  • Diagnose faults, troubleshoot issues, repair or replace components, test systems, and carry out necessary adjustments.

  • Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and the wider plant facilities.

  • Complete installation tasks, including the provision and connection of electrical, water, and compressed air supplies.

  • Utilise a range of hand and power tools, electrical testing equipment, and material handling apparatus in the execution of duties.

  • Time served Engineer
  • Experience With Hydraulics & Pneumatics
