Job Title: Trainee Laser Operator
Location: Sheffield Site
Salary: £12.50 - £15 per hour DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the role:
- Assist in the operation of laser cutting equipment under the guidance of experienced operators.
- Learn to set up machine parameters to support optimal cutting results.
- Observe and monitor the cutting process to gain understanding of accuracy and efficiency requirements.
- Support routine maintenance tasks and help identify basic equipment issues.
- Participate in inspecting finished parts for quality and report any defects.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
About you:
- A willingness to learn and develop technical skills in laser cutting operations.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and an interest in manufacturing processes.
- An ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- The ability or willingness to learn to interpret engineering drawings.
- A commitment to workplace safety and following company procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow within a manufacturing environment.
