We are seeking a versatile Lawyer with a "can do" attitude to provide comprehensive legal advice and support on all aspects of special educational needs (SEN). This role is ideal for candidates who are adept at decision-making and well-versed in policies and procedures related to SEN.
Day-to-day of the role:- Provide legal advice and support on various aspects of special educational needs.
- Manage a varied caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals, including conducting advocacy in case management hearings and final hearings in the First Tier SEND Tribunal.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality management of cases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with reliable support and advice.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in special educational needs law.
- Proven ability to manage a varied caseload of SEND Tribunal appeals.
- Capable of performing advocacy in case management and final hearings.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
