Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Design Engineer with a strong background in large scale engineering, particularly in the design and development of rotors. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and capable of taking ownership of rotor design projects from concept through to production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop rotor systems for industrial machinery using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, sales, and service.
  • Modify and improve existing designs based on performance data and customer feedback.
  • Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Travel to customer sites for design validation, troubleshooting, or project meetings when necessary.

Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:

  • Educated in relevant field, i.e. Mechanical Engineering
  • Hands-on experience designing rotors and shredding equipment.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and mechanical design principles.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and electrical systems related to industrial equipment
  • Experience working in a customer-facing engineering role.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally across the UK and Europe.
