Position : Production Technician
Location : Sheffield
Sector : Engineering, manufacturing
Salary : 28,000-35,000 according to experience
Hours : Days only. 4 day week. 38 hours
The Role :
- Mechanical assembly following engineering drawings
- Using basic hand tools
- Basic soldering and welding beneficial
- Installing and wiring electrical components/panels from basic electrical schematics
- Basic electrical test and inspection abilities preferred
About you :
- Good skill base in mechanical Assembly/fitting
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Previous machining processes and skill in performing machining operations such as drilling, milling, and turning would be a distinct advantage but not essential
- Previous experience in Panel Wiring would be advantageous but is not essential
- Own transport due to site location having poor public transport
