Position: Key Stage 3 English TeacherLocation: SheffieldContract: Temporary, with the possibility of extension in SeptemberPay: £150 - £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons across Key Stage 3.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support both academic and personal development.
- Implement school policies and contribute to curriculum planning - curriculum oversight experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with school staff to maintain a supportive classroom setting.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your teaching skills.
What We're Looking For:
- Qualified Key Stage 3 English Teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching English to KS3 students.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
- Passionate about promoting literacy and inspiring a love of learning.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply - support available.
