Production Supervisor – Metal Processing Location: SheffieldSalary: £35,000Hours: Full-time Monday – Friday days based
Are you an experienced leader with a background in metal processing and a passion for driving team performance? We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and lead a team of up to 15 operatives in a busy metal processing facility.
Key responsibilities of the Production Supervisor include:
- Supervising a team of operatives to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production
- Leading daily briefings, coordinating workloads, and maintaining shift performance
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitoring targets and implementing solutions to meet KPIs
- Training, mentoring, and developing team members to maximise potential
We’re looking for Production Supervisors with the following skills & experience:
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or metal processing environment
- A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence
- Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards
- Confident decision-maker with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lead by example with a hands-on approach
