Role: Procurement Manager
Location: South Yorkshire
Salary: £50,000 - £62,000
Castlefield are currently recruiting a Procurement Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Sheffield. This role offers an excellent benefits package, with the need to be in the Sheffield head office twice per week.
The Role:
- Autonomously lead, design and deliver complex OJEU/Find a Tender procurement processes across different category areas
- Create robust and future-proofed tender documentation, including drafting evaluation criteria and incorporating social value
- Develop and build complex evaluation models
- Work with stakeholders to ensure appropriate onboarding of delivery partners
- Proactively manage and mitigate any risks
- Analyse procurement pipeline and historical spend data to identify new opportunities for cost savings
The Person:
- MCIPS qualified, or working towards (desirable)
- Good working knowledge of Public Sector Procurement and processes (essential)
- Significant experience in managing
- Extensive commercial awareness
- Strong stakeholder management skills
