We are seeking an experienced Procurement Support Officer who is skilled in managing procurement activities in the public sector, specifically within the NHS environment. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement and supply chain processes, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Description

  • Manage procurement activities and ensure compliance with UK public procurement legislation and NHS England policies and procedures.
  • Have a strong customer focus, commercial acumen, and a pro-active approach
  • Be well organised with an efficient approach to management of a varied-day to-day workload
  • Support NOE CPC Category teams with contract and supplier management activity across a range of category areas.
  • Build excellent working relationships with peers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, and other external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to ensure contract compliance.
  • Prepare procurement reports and maintain accurate procurement records.

Profile

  • A thorough understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Experience working within the NHS or public sector environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • An ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadline

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £37,338 - £44,962 (Please note that this is a banding system that is progressive with length of service so all offers will be made at £37,338)
